I wish I had a computer brain

One day I organise the other day I just loose it.
You might know that you can get to my blog through my personal domain called https://merilmoldri.com which you will find on my Twitter and Instagram (I started them after my blog, so there is not much on those accounts yet :D) and it will direct you to my blog or you might be using a link from my google+ profile which is the one you see when you are reading my blog. But if you add www infront of the merilmoldri.com it just doesn't work or redirect you to anything
Anyway, where I am trying to get is I tried to make it a bit easier, and join everything on www.merilmoldri.com but I'm just so lost :D All these domain names and dsl and what not and the lot....I just don't get it :D I mean I had to ask D earlier how to do a screenshot.
I tried so hard, but I want all 3 of the addresses to work and direct you to my blog..so this is just frustrating. I might have to ask D to do it for me. Because it's just too much for me. I mean I have to set something on Blogspot and then on GoDaddy, where I buy my personal domain from, and I am just too computer illiterate for all of it :D

Anyway, the only reason I'm telling you guys this rather than just getting it sorted and then letting you find out yourselves, is that I got so frustrated and had to let it all out :D

Does anyone feel the same as me?
I mean sometimes I feel like even a 3 year old knows more about computers than me :D

Home shop

Another rainy day. The only colour outside seems to be grey :( D is away because of work and I've got a day off, so what better thing to do than shop :D

Just to make myself feel better about spending money again I did clean the flat a bit while I waited for the mailman to come and collect Ds parcel. I also made a serious effort at trying to fix the toilet. The flush button broke off the other day, so D tried to glue it back on, but ended up pouring glue all over the instrument :D So it got stuck and I tried to dissolve the glue with acetone today...It didn't work :D And because our handyman is on vacation for 2 weeks we now have to wait for him to fix it.
I have to mention that we CAN still flush the toilet, by lifting some thing in there :D so it's not as bad as it may sound :D

So today ( I realise I use the word ''So'' to start sentences a lot :D) I woke up around 10 when D left. Had my usual morning coffee, put some washing on and for an hour just cruised on the Internet trying to look for inspiration for my date night this Friday :)
I've been trying to mix up my breakfasts lately, so I had a salmon and cream cheese bagel today :)
I then got ready (outfit post on the blog already) and once the parcel man had come I met up with my friend Marta in town for a bit of shopping :)

And here is what I found :)

These frames will go in the bedroom, once I've found some pictures to put in there :D Me and D have about 2 of us, and it would be weird to just put pictures of ourselves separately in there.
The white one was 4.99 and blue ones both 5.99. I love TkMax :D

This might not interest any of you, but we really needed some new pans, so I got a nice small one, since it is just the 2 of at the moment and a smaller wok pan as well, for all the stir fry meals :D
I also got these baskets, which I now use on the shelf in the kitchen. The smaller one holds all the vegetables and the bigger one has all the tuna cans in it now :D  It just looks nicer I think :)

Didn't get anything for myself for the date night :( but i can always go back on Friday, since I have the whole day off...

Or maybe not...I do have a lot of clothes already :D
But I'm off to cook some chicken now...being a good girlfriend today :)

Outfit of the day

Or should I say Outfit of the rainy day :)
Since it is so rainy and grey outside I opted for dark colours, because I would just kick dirt up while walking and ruin anything lighter.
I do realise it's a bit biker chic :D But I have to wear a coat as well, because it's about 10 degrees outside :D

The jeans I am wearing are a find while I was clearing my chest of drawers. They are h&m and size 28 waist, and they are so comfortable...mostly because they are extremely stretchy...I can even button up :D

Boots - from Estonia a few years ago
Bag - New Look
Coat - River Island (it's a size xs, but since it's a tuxedo style, it looks massive :D)
Shirt - Zara

I keep my hair in a ponytail a lot lately, mostly because I can't be bothered to do anything with them and they have grown so long they just get in my face and get stuck in my lip gloss :D

Make up is simple...I just used my bb foundation cream and highlighter and mascara

So black is my go to clothes colour when it's raining. What are your rainy day outfit picks...apart from an umbrella :D Mine is really cool at the moment actually, I found it at work and it looks like a parasol :)
Pic on instagram :)

Stay stylish girls even when it rains :)

Birthday

Not my Birthday :) But my very good friends 31st Birthday

My Dress - Forever21
Shoes - New Look
Jacket - Primark (I got it years ago for about 9 pounds if I'm not mistaken)
Necklace - Zara

My friend Jojo is also wearing my dress. I got it from Asos and it's their own brand. Unfortunately the waist of the dress is so small, it doesn't fit me at the moment :D

I left my make-up very simple, just added some more mascara and a red lip gloss to my daytime make up. Didn't do much to my hair either, just kept it straight :)

And here is the beautiful birthday girl :D

Sunday 25 May 2014

Chilly Sunday

It's Bank Holiday Sunday...again. It seems like it's the 7th bank holiday this month :D
Since D was in Manchester and Jo is visiting me, we decided to go for a bit of shopping and an early dinner. We had a little look in Debenhams, all their kids/baby clothes are on sale, which is really cool, because they have really qute things...I didn't end up buying anything though :D
And then we headed to Forever21. They are having a refurb, so instead of the usual 3 floors, only 1 floor was open, but I actually kind of liked it, because it was more compact :) I ended up getting a nice black maxi dress, that I'll be wearing tonight for my friends birthday.

But this is what I wore for shopping...completely inappropriate, because it was so cold and grey outside :D

All Items are from H&M apart from the bag that's New Look and necklace is Forever21.

My crazy friend pretending to be pregnant...she really isn't normal :D

29 weeks

I am being very very good and doing this post in the morning. I usually update and write in the evening, but since my dearest friend Jojo is coming to visit me from London I know I will be busy in the evening.

But this girl Jojo, I have missed her sooo much. We don't know each other too long, we used to work together, but it wasn't until I moved in the house she was living in as well did we become really good friends. And I can't imagine not having her as a friend. D is going away for the weekend as well to see his friend in Manchester, so we can have our usual girly nights in...except this time there won't be any wine :D

Not much has actually changed in the baby department this week, but I promised myself I will still do the weekly updates, so here it is :)

 Cardigan - Forever21
Jeans - New Look Maternity
Tank top - h&m
Blouse - h&m
Shoes - Primark?

How far along : 29 weeks

Gender : Boy

Total weight gain : I've gained another pound this week, which means I've gained a total of 16 pounds. This is all healthy and good and I'm quite happy with it. Since I'm meant to gain about a pound a week from now on, it should put me at 26-27 pounds by the time I give birth, which is considered a healthy weight gain...so yay for me :D

Measurements
Belly: 92cm  Waist: 81cm
I still fit in all my clothes, I'm not saying I can zip and use the buttons :D but that's just my belly.
So while my belly grows, my other measurements HAVE stayed the same, 2cm has come on to my thighs, but that's probably to support the growing weight of my upper body :D

Cravings : chicken wraps, breaded chicken, chicken enchiladas, chicken fajitas :D I have literally been craving everything chicken, so I've had about 5 chicken wraps in every variation this week, and I think it's safe to say the craving is gone forever....well it's gone until it comes back.

Sleep: I have been sleeping like a baby lately. I go to sleep about 12 every night and wake up around 5 am because I need the toilet, but after that I can easily sleep another 5-6 hours without anything disturbing or waking me, so I am really happy about that.

Stretch marks : Still no stretch marks, but I'm guessing they will start appearing around now time (third trimester) if I'll get them at all.

Movement : I keep trying to get the movements on the video, but end up missing them all the time, or I don't have the camera at hand :D But i promise I will do it one day, because it just looks so weird. So amazing at the same time...I can't believe there is someone growing in my belly :)

Things for the baby: I haven't gotten any new things, but we have been looking around for a co-sleeper. I know chicco does it, but I want something wooden, because Chicco one is metal and fabric. I saw a couple of good ones by BabybeMine and a german company, and they are at a really good price, so we'll have to just pick one out and order it :)

Favourite Name: Still Adrien :) I'm really surprised this name has stuck with me for so long.

Thoughts : I need to get a breast bump, and I need to get a hospital bag and all the things I need to bring with me sorted. I know I still have 10 weeks left :D but knowing me and my things of leaving everything to the last minute, I really should get cracking and do and get the things we need.
We definitely have enough clothes for him for his first weeks, so I guess now we need to start thinking of bigger months, well at least 3-6 months things, as you never know how much he is going to grow. D is quite tall, so the baby might grow out of newborn things pretty fast. But I guess we can't know that until he is here and growing :)

Weekly eats

I am really into chicken this week, so I started it out by having a chicken cheese wrap on Monday with guacamole and peppers and onions, and then ended up having the same on Tuesday with D :D

This is from Monday and it's not really a wrap because I put too much in it :D But it was still really good. I used chicken goujons and mozzarella cheese :)

And then on Wednesday we obviously went to the American diner restaurant. I put a picture of our meal in the Wednesday post :)

Yesterday I didn't have chicken either, we made pasta bolognese, and it was so good. I think I can eat pasta every day, unfortunately it's not healthy  enough for daily consumption :D

I figured since the meal is not healthy anyway I might as well have those 2 pieces of garlic bread :D I had a bit of cottage cheese on the side as well.
We used a really lean beef mince for the sauce, and just cooked it with some onions and Dolmio original bolognese sauce. A sprinkling of grated mozzarella and voila...best plate of comfort food ever :)

Today I had work again, and I really should've started my day out nice and healthy, but unfortunately we had some pain au chocolates left (I say left...I bought 8 yesterday :D) so I just had to have one. So my breakfast was not the usual porridge/sandwich, but peach yogurt and pain au chocolat. I'm now having a normal coffee for breakfast, and have caffeine free at lunch.

I use instant coffee, because it's just that much easier, and I usually have smaller pots of activia, but these large ones came out to be cheaper to buy.

At work I had another chicken wrap for lunch and went through almost half of these :)

I'm not even a big fan of strawberries, but the smell of them lured me in, and they turned out to be really sweet and nice :)

These are the alcohol-free ciders I've been talking about. I've only ever tried the pear one and I really like it. D got me the berry one as well, which I still need to test out :) if I do I'll let you know what I think.
You can find them in any bigger supermarker, and if I'm not mistaken they cost about 2.50 each, so not the cheapest non alcoholic drink, but worth a try. They are really refreshing :)

That's it for now. We are off to the cinema now to watch the new X-men movie, and I'm sure I'm going to have a small bag of salted popcorn  :D D likes sweet popcorn so we can never share a big one, because I absolutely despise the sweet kind :D

Stay healthy...because i've clearly not been this week. I am actually starting to think I'm not healthy at all :D But I must be doing something right, because I'm still healthy weight, and always have been. I have realised I don't snack that much.

All about the balance I guess :)

Bedroom

Finally we got all the new furniture assembled and put into place. All my things are nicely organised and I just feel relieved to have it over and done with now. I still need to get a few things though, and we haven't bought the co-sleeper, which will change the room up a bit :D But here it is...our bedroom.

The Bed - Most of our covers are in either white, brown or blue tones, so this look changes a bit, but not considerably, when I change the bedsheets. The little bedside lamps are from Argos and were only 13.99 for a pair. They are touch base and have 3 different light settings...so cute :D
The picture came with the flat, and I have had it on pretty much every wall in every room. It goes really well now though I think. My side is the left, and the co-sleeper will be on that side as well....obviously.

The new chest of drawers - these are from the Koppang range in Ikea and they were actually at a really good price (£60 pounds each). They are longer and higher than the ones we had before, but the less wide, which is good because it gives more space between them and the bed. The machine on the left is a humidifier...It's Ds and I really hate it :D but I read that it's really good for the baby...so it can stay for now...even though I don't see why we need more humidity in England.

I am aware that there is 2 mirrors on the top. I only usually have the round one...we can't put it on the wall, because the walls are made out of paper :D so we're scared it might fall and break. I usually have the smaller one on my bedside table behind the lamp, but it looked better on the picture to not have it there, because Ds bedside table is pretty much empty.

On my chest of drawers I have a 2 boxes, the bottom round one has my clip-in hair extensions in it and a few random things like extra chargers and some documents. I keep all my extra make-up in the top box. The things I don't use daily, or hardly use, so most of my eye shadow palettes and out of tone foundations and a few cremes...all that. And then that big pile of jewellery is just a big pile of things I tend to use more often...small earrings, bracelets and bangles and a few necklaces.
And then there is a picture of my brother and me almost 8 years ago with my dog (he got ran over by a car 2 months after I moved to England :(  The picture is actually taken on the day when I left. 16th of September 2007 :D how strange)

This rattan chest of drawers also came with the flat and I use it to store all my extra jewellery, scarves and sunglasses and also my work shirts and gloves and things like that. I also have my hair dryer and straighteners in there when I'm not using them. I do tend to just chuck things in there once I've used them and it gets really messy....ALL THE TIME :D

This is the only closet in the bedroom. It's so tiny... so most of my clothes are stacked on top of each other on the hangers. Only organising I've done with it is I've tried to color co-ordinate even though all the long skirts and maxi dresses and longer sweaters and jackets are on the edges and don't go with the colors. D keeps his shirts and suits in the other bedroom, where there is the same size closet. They are both built in though, which really helps with the room lay out. The one thing I do think is great is the shoe shelf D got me. It comes in like a 100 different pieces and you can assemble it the size and height you need and want. So I keep my flats on top of it and heels in the compartments....I have to admit though, that there is about 15 pairs of boots and more shoes behind the shelf, because they just didn't fit. And I keep my daily shoes in the hallway.

On the top shelf I kee all my sweaters and cardigans and a few bags (most of my bags are under the side table in the living room....I have no idea why :D ) The shelf is quite high up though, so I usually just pull something out when I need it, and just throw it back in there once I'm done with it :D

This is not in the bedroom. I do my make up in the bathroom, so I keep all my daily make up and cremes in the Estee Lauder bags and I'm using  just a cleaned coffee jar for my brushes. I would keep them in the bedroom, but I usually wake up before D so It's just easier like this, plus the sun shines on this side of the house in the morning so I've got great light.

Hope you enjoyed the post. And I hope I get the strength together to sort out the living room next. Even though the massive coffee table is starting to grow on me :D

Organising

OH MY GOD :D

I have spent the whole of today organising everything. I did put up the last chest of drawers and sorted out all my clothes and accessories and things.

The new chest of drawers will have a selection of things I do use and still fit into and also daily things for the baby.  And the old one now contains our bed sheets and covers, clothes that are not in season at the moment and clothes that are too small or uncomfortable :D this will go in the spare bedroom/Ds office. He will do the same with his clothes. We have his and her dressers, so I'm waiting for him to finish work, so he can sort out the rubbish and things and then I'll do a post on my new bedroom.

I have also been organising the blog. So now all the Pages will include the content of the blog relevant to the page...this took me ages as I'm not very good with computers or any kind of technology for that matter. But I'm so glad I've done it, because it just makes it so much easier for you guys to navigate through the blog :) and find posts that most interest you.
Which brings me to the post updates. From now on I will do smaller posts to go with the pages, rather than covering the whole day in one post. This means that I'm doing more posts, but the content amount won't change that much.
This also means that I will be editing my older posts to match the themes of the pages...it won't be happening too soon though, because there is a lot of content to go over and I am still working. So the older posts will remain as they are for the moment, so you might find posts about food, baby and shopping all under Baby Update, but I honestly don't have time to change all of them at the moment...all in good time.

Hopefully my hard work will pay off, and all you lovelies will have a great time cruising through my blog :D

I'll go through the pages content with you now :)

Page ''Food'' will include all the meals I have and cook and our restaurant adventures. I'll also try to post some receipes that I've tried and tested and work for me :)

''Baby Update'' will have everything about my pregnancy in it...all my weekly updates and things for him. and I'll also try to put all the helpful information I've found or come across. After the birth this page will turn into everything baby apart from pregnancy, which will be over :D

''Shopping'' will be the page that has all my beauty and clothes and hair buys and product reviews. Everything girly

''Home and Living'' will be the page, where I will put everything involving home and living :D simple. So ideas for the home, my home, and all things lifestyle.

And the last page called ''Fashion'' will have my daily outfit posts and my picks and some fashion advice from my point of view.

I really do hope this will be a big improvement for the blog, so let me know what you think. And if you have any other advice. Any post requests?

Stranded

Today was so nice and sunny. Sun always makes me happy and the minute I woke up and realised the weather was nice I knew it was going to be a great day....or did I :D ?

The day was actually really nice, I sat in the Sun for quite a while until It got really uncomfortable. I then decided to try and lie on the grass...bad idea...It's uncomfortable to lie on my back and pretty  much not possible to lie on my stomach :D so I just gave up and had a shower instead.

After the shower my friend Maria called me and invited me over to hers. They moved to a house they bought with her boyfriend a couple of months ago and I just haven't been able to go so far. So she came to pick me up and off we went.
Later on we both came back to town and I met up with D for some dinner. We went to this american style diner place called Coast to Coast, which opened a few months ago, but I just havent't had a chance to check out yet.

I had a burger with strawberry milkshake :D sounds disgusting I know. The flavors work though....FOR ME :D D had a steak...surprise surprise.

So these are the things I mentioned in my yesterdays post. All h&m ...even the socks :D

After the meal it was already 8.30 pm so I decided to walk home, and D went to the gym...I don't know how he does it with a full stomach. Anyway I walked home and thought I'll start on the last chest of drawers so we can get it up today...BUT I got to the house and realised I'd forgotten my keys at home :( So I called one of the neighbours through the intercom to let me in to the courtyard...thinking D always leaves the door open so I can just get in the flat anyway.
No, because I told him off about leaving the door unlocked, he actually locked it :D so this one day I need him to be naughty he decides to be nice...
Fortunately our wifi works in the courtyard, and I'd left my blanket and pillows out on the chairs from the day, because 8/9 pm it's not that warm outside anymore :D
I texted D right away obviously, but he still took his time coming back, so I ended up spending an hour sitting outside watching Youtube videos and talking to my sister on Facebook.

It wasn't actually even bad...just one of those...WHY do I have a pregnancy brain moments :D

around 9.30pm D came back and let me in...My keys were randomly on the bed...I have no idea how they got there. We were just joking around wondering if all the things gone missing lately will turn up in a pile somewhere soon. Like the missing furniture parts and all the rest :D I guess we'll find out at one point.

The chest of drawers is still in the box, we still have a MASSIVE coffe table but at least my keys turned up.

Anyone else have had crazy brain freeze moments lately ??

Shopping and Ikea delivery disaster

I am on my first day off out of my 3 days off this week, so I wanted to start it off by being at least slightly productive.
I woke up around 10, which is really good for me, since I tend to wake up before 9 these days, I don't even bother setting the alarm anymore :D Had some breakfast (wholemeal bread with cheese and tomato and a boiled egg) got ready and went to town.

So I'm wearing something different fnally, still the leopard print espadrilles, so I'm not even going to mention them anymore if I do wear them again :D

Jeans - Michael Kors (Not maternity, just w29 which use to be too big :( NOT ANYMORE :D )
Bag - New Look
Green Sweater - Zara
Tank top (just seen) h&m

Pardon the stupid face, I'm still not used to selfies :D

The plan was to get a few things for the flat, but I got distracted in Boots :D I only went there to get shower gel and pregnancy vitamins, because I ran out yesterday, but I ended up getting a lot more.

This oil is from the same company I've used before. I have noticed that my hair has grown really long, but the ends are so overworked and they just look tired, so hopefully this will make them look better and shine more.

Also I've been using the Estee Lauder Doublewear foundation and though it is amazing and gives great coverage I find it too thick for the summer, plus since I've had a chance to tan a bit, the color doesn't match anymore. So I went to the Estee Lauder stand....BIG MISTAKE :D well not really. I am very pleased with my new Double wear All-Day Glow BB foundation cream and brush-on Glow BB Highlighter and Concealer.

AND since I bought 2 products I bagged a great gift. I was also in need of a new make up bag, so all in all I got quite a few products I needed and they are from a great company.

This bag included Advance Night Repair serum, DayWear creme, Sumptuous Mascara, eyeshadow set, lipstick, Eyeliner and Nail Lacquer :) And of course my favourite thing out of the gift...the makeup bag :)

I also went to H&M and got the espadrilles in this stripy pattern since I've worn my leopard print pair into shreds :D I'll buy another pair of them once the ones I've got no longer work as shoes :D

And these silky shorts, they are in size small, but for some reason look huuuge, and of course they have a stretchy waist, so I can wear them until the end of my pregnancy and after that as well. The white shirt is also not maternity...I don't know if I've mentioned this but I don't want to buy any more maternity clothes, because I don't like spending money on things I can only wear for a certain amount of time and then they become useless. The shirt works perfectly with my growing belly though, because it's so flowy, and also works with most of my wardrobe :)

I also got a pair of just normal short sweatpants in navy blue to wear around the house. I got these in size medium though, because I don't want them to pinch me at any point, and since they were only 5.99 and will probably only last a few months I don't mind if they will be too big for me after the baby comes :)

(completely forgot to take a photo, when I was taking them of the make up :D so I'll take one tomorrow for an outfit post :))

Since I did go to town to get things for the home I did pick up these cute table lamps ( seen on the estee lauder gift picture), they are touch ones and have 3 different light settings. I also got a pair of curtains for the bedroom (just see through cream ones) and a curtain pole for them. And then when I got home, the Ikea delivery came, and everything went wrong :D

D was away for the day because of work, so I decided to start putting it all up myself. I did great with my bedside table...that was easy. But I completely messed up D's so when he got home, it took him about an hour to dissemble the mess i had made. And it's still missing a piece.
Another thing was the new coffee table. I know I said I wanted a bigger one, but I didn't check any sizes when I ordered, and the table is MASSIVE.

This is not funny. Luckily we can use it as a tv table and use the old tv table as our new coffee table...disaster anyway...and it's missing 3 pieces.

I'll do another post on my new bedroom, once we've put up the new chest of drawers and set everything up the way I like.

Sunday 18 May 2014

Baby show and sunny Saturday

As I mentioned on my 28 week post, I went to the baby show...or did I ? Anyway, I did :D And it honestly wasn't for me. There was just too many people offering and trying to sell you thing that are so unnecessary. I did get a few things though that I needed. And also an online code for this small compact changing mat/bag. It's just a big envelope size foldable mat that's so easy to carry around so there is no need for a big bag :) I didn't like any of the colors they had out there though, so I'm going to order one online instead unless someone gives it to us as a present :D
The most useful things I got from there were the catalogs and money off/discount voucher codes :) and I took a lot of them :D

And then a few more onesies and hats and socks. But the one thing I did actually went to get and got was the baby grooming kit. I got one from the Tommee Tippie, and it includes the little nose thing to get the boogies out, a hairbrush and comb, thermometer (we have a better one bought seperately already) toothbrush (it seems to be too harsh though, so have to get a better one when the time is right) and also some nail files and clippers and scissors, and it's all in a handy little case, which is perfect for travelling and all that.

These are all the little onesies I got, they were all 30 percent off in the mothercare stand. A few of them my friend got me, because she couldn't contain herself :D So sweet of her though :)
Actually my favorite item is the one she got, which is the onesie with raindrops on it, and it came with the stripy/green topknot hat. They are all tiny baby size, so good for about 3 months I'd say.

The weather was really nice though, and I really didn't want to spend much time inside the building, so we headed back to town for some dinner.

Went to one of the italian places by mine called Cusina Rustica...it's so nice in there, all the dishes are sooo big and so delicious.

We shared the meat and seafood started, and had some bread as well (they always bring bread and olives on the table with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar)

They have changed the menu for the summer. And even though the food is amazing I don't really like elaminated menus :S it's just not what I would excpect from that place. It's a minor thing though.

and ever since the weather went nice and sunny I've been craving beer :D not even getting drunk, but just the refreshing taste of beer, so I had a nice bottle of non alcoholic Becks Blue. I had a bit of lime cordial as well in it though, and some ice :D But it did the trick.

So all in all it was actually a really nice day and hopefully there will be many more of them :)

I even managed to tan myself  a bit in the morning...check out the photos on my 28 week update...I look BROOOOWN :D

Saturday 17 May 2014

28 weeks

I only have 12 weeks to go :O And I am officially in the third trimester. How? I'm so unprepared. I don't think I can do this?! Am I meant to be this paranoid :D? I honestly think I'm the most unprepared mom to be. I went to the baby show today and I hadn't even heard of most of the things they were selling there. I do realise they were trying to get people to buy things that...well.. we don't really need, but still...
Oh well, too late to turn back now. And I really wouldn't anyway :)

Don't mind me I was just on my way to work when I took this photo, so I haven't done much with my hair or face.
Jeans -  Zara
Cardigan -  Forever21
espadrilles - H&M
Tank top - H&M

My belly looks absolutely HUUUGE when I lie down :D And I've noticed that my belly button is starting to make an exit...very strange :D

How far along : 28 weeks

Gender : Boy

Total weight gain : 15 pounds (weighed in the morning in my pj's). I got weighed in the hospital as well, but I was wearing shoes and a jacket as well on the scale, which I normally wouldn't do when weighing myself. I don't think clothes should be counted as weight gain...Even with clothes on though, I'm still considered to be in the lower end of healthy weight gain, so all is good in that appartment

Measurements: I had my belly measured at my hospital appointment, but I can't find it written down anywhere in my green book, It was taken their way though, so since my baby was upside down, he was measured from head to tow...I think...The midwife said he is normal size, maybe slightly taller than average.
Belly:   Waist:

Cravings : Nothing really. The other day I did get a pizza though, I'm not sure if I was craving it or maybe I was just really hungry, since I didn't have a break at work :S Beer :D the taste of beer.

Sleep: I wake up at least once in a night to go the toilet, which isn't too bad. I'm sure it will get worse. I've also been feeling light heartburn once I'm in bed, which makes it harder to go to sleep. Sometimes I fall asleep fine and when I wake up for my toilet break I just can't go to sleep anymore because of the heartburn. I don't feel the need to nap anymore either during the day, which is probably good, because I'm sure it would be even harder to go to sleep at night if I would nap.

Stretch marks : Still nothing, since I've gone back to work though, the sight of cellulite has reduced as well, which is good news and really shows how keeping active helps so much

Movement : I can clearly feel movement now as well as kicks. So when he moves his tiny hands or feet along my belly I can feel it, which is really cool :)

Things for the baby: 3 long sleepsuits, 4 short sleeved - no leg bodies, 3 pairs of socks, a water and air thermometer. 2 pairs of trousers, cardigan, chinos, pram suit, diaper genie, ear thermometer, All the things mentioned in the baby show post.

Favorite Name: Still Adrien. D on the other hand thinks the name is quite old, because when he lived in france the only Adrien he knew were old men :D

Thoughts : I'm in my third trimester. People are now starting to notice that I am actually pregnant. This belly popped out of nowhere in the last 2 weeks :D Even strangers notice now, which is really cool. I do feel myself get a bit motherly as well...Usually I would hate children coming to where I work, because they make a mess and they are so noisy, but I've noticed  I don't really mind anymore.
I also find myself cleaning a lot more and thinking about making the place look more homey :) I guess that's all part of the process :)

Anti D

Today I had my first appointment in the hospital I have chosen for the birth. The appointment was for my Anti D injection. Because of my blood group I need to get it done, so it will be safer for the baby once it's born. While I was there though, they also took my 28 week bloods, which means I don't have to go to my seperate appointment for it, which means another day off for me :)

The injection didn't hurt that much and now I can't even feel it, it did feel a bit cold at first, but that went away. The midwife who looked after me today was really nice, she also measured my stomach and listened to the heartbeat. Apparently the little one is upside down, which means that when I though he was turning after I flew back to England, I was right. She also let me touch the place where she felt the head, and I really wanted to be like ''aaaawww, yeah, I can feel it'' In all honesty I just felt a harder spot in my stomach :D

Another exciting thing that happened today was that I got myself a new phone. It's a Nokia Lumia 1020 and I got it because it has a really good camera on it, 41 megapixels to be exact. So I can hope my picture quality will be much better from now on.

After I sorted out my phone, I went to have a look in the shops and I only made it to Zara and TK Max, but it was so worth it. Not that I bought anything :D but I found so many things that I will get, that it just made my day.

I was really impressed with Tk Maxs' home department, it was the only place I went :D But I think they had just put out loads of new things, and I found really good seaside themed items for the bedrooms, a tray and few candles for the living room, with some cushions, and also some boxes and baskets. I realised our bedroom is really not big enough for a full size crib/cot bed, so I think I'm going to fo gor the smaller ones...I don't know what they are called..cradles??? and put some baskets underneath it to maximise the storage. I also need some for the kitchen...which brings be to the kitchen things.

We are in serious need of new pots and pans, and they had these amazing green and yellow ones :) :D Since I don't want to buy a whole set, because our eating habits don't involve a lot of boiling things, tk max is perfect, because the pans are sold seperately and I they are so much cheaper than normal shops, but such good quality.

But again I didn't buy anything, because D is away in Ireland for the weekend, and I don't want to leave him out of all of it. So I'll go back once he is back, and this way he can carry the stuff as well :D
The other reason was that, I was soooo hungry, that I just couldn't be bothered waiting in the que to pay.

So I came home and had some food and then rearragned the living room :D and picked some flowers from the garden. They look so pretty :)

I have no idea what kind of flowers these are, but there is a massive bush of them just outside our living room door :D And look at the quality of the picture :O This is made in the dark. I wouldn't be able to see anything If I would've taken this photo with my old phone.

So yes....best part of today was defo getting a new phone :)

Back in England

I am back and have already been at work, done laundry, ordered furniture, cleaned the flat...BUT I haven't had time to update the blog...very bad.
I know I am also late on the 27 week update, I'm going to do it on Saturday and do a joint 27/28 week one...or more like just a 28 week update.

As I have said before, our flat is in serious need of more storage, so yesterday when it came to ordering chest of drawers for the spare room/Ds office I actually reconsidered and figured this is a great chance to replace the cheap looking ones in the bedroom with some fresh new ones.

I have gone for all white in the bedroom, and will go for blues as well as yellows and dark browns.Tthe fleece blanket I use on top of the covers is also blue (you might have seen it, I've taken some pictures of clothes/make-up on top of the bed before) Nautical/sea side theme I think.

So I got 2 3 drawer chest of drawers and 2 side tables (I had to get different ones, because D didn't like the ones I picked out and I didn't like his choice, so we decided that since his side is the far corner, it won't make a difference which table there is (he needs drawers on his side)

The pine colored chest of drawers will go in the spare room now, where I can keep the linens and clothes I don't use daily. Also I'm going to get either plastic storage boxes or some baskets to go underneath the cot (still don't have it) to keep the baby's clothes in them. And I did order a bigger coffee table as well for the living room. Funnily enough none of the furniture is from the same line (IKEA) but since it's all white I din't think it makes a difference...our living room furniture is white as well (couches are brown)

So a bit of Pinterest Inspiration for the living room and bedroom :)

I love just a simple arrangement of a bunch of flowers and candles. We use candles a lot :)

These are exactly the right colors. so simple and earthy...or should I say seasidy :D

I like the idea of a shelf above the bed with decorations on it, and also need a good picture collage as well. And you can never have enough candles.

I'm so hoping that with the new furniture the flat will finally start looking like a home rather than a rental place. I have only lived here since February and I'm quite glad I've waited a bot with the decorating, because I have had some crazy ideas :D But this now seems to have stuck for a while, so we'll give it a go

Here's to homes :)
