Denim and Yellow

Hello, Everyone :)
I have not done an outfit post in a long time again. I had to have a little look around in my closet (read rails) because I have to find outfits for a trip we are going on. And summer was so long time ago I have kind of forgotten what I actually have. And in the midst of finding summery outfits I found my beloved pair of distressed boyfriend jeans, which made me think of a nice and bright outfit :) hope you enjoy :)

Wearing: JEANS - Zara, YELLOW TOP - Missguided, BAG - New Look, SHOES - Missguided, NECKLACE (SET OF 2) - Forever21, BELT - h&m, SUNGLASSES - Primark

Stay tuned everyone :)

Style Post

Hello, Everyone :)
This post has been a long time coming :D And I'm sorry about it, and that is all I'm going to say. I didn't do daily outfit posts for a really long time for the reason. I didn't want to put another mirror selfie picture up here. But I now have a camera that I can set up with a timer and voila ?? or not. Have you guys tried to take a photo of yourself with a camera and a timer and all that jazz? I felt like a right dick :D so please be kind...the photos are my first. I'm sure they will get better :D So enjoy ?! Also you can spot my new shorter shorter hair do :)

About the outfit. It is definitely a very laid back, casual outfit, but not like a ''let's go to the grocery store around the corner'' but more like ''lets head to town for a bit of shopping''
The sage green jean trousers are from asos. They are slightly high waisted and made out of super soft fabric :)
I also got the bag from Asos, but it's actually New Look.
The sweater and shoes are from Missguided. And the belt is an old buy from H&M. It's a bit worn and old, but my new gold and tan belt needs another hole as it's too big for this waist height.

Hope you enjoyed the post and are not too weirded out about how I look on the pictures :D haha
Stay tuned :)

Outfit Of The Day

Good Afternoon, Everybody :)

I thought that, since the last two outfit posts were quite casual, I'll do a fancy, pancy, dressy outfit today :D And I've gone all out wearing my new clip on hair extensions as well :) To be fair I should've done all of this after coming back from town (I'm in need for some beauty essentials) but I just didn't think. Not that it's a problem, but it means I have literally gotten myself all prettied up for 10 minutes :D and then now I have to take it all off...anyway, I'm sorry about the weird words...I just can't think of any normal ones :D

Back to the post..this one is all about the pencil skirt. I must admit, the ''skirt'' here is actually a bottom part of a dress. I cut it off because I would get more use having it as a skirt as I would wearing it as a dress...I don't think I even have the top part anymore :D I really like an all white/off white look with a few metallic or colourful accessories :) I have gone for the blues. I think the contrasting colours just work really well together and it's definitely a christmas party look :)

Wearing :
Skirt (half of a dress) - Asos
Blazer - h&m
Shirt - New Look
Shoes - New Look
Bag - New Look
Watch - fake Cartier...don't judge me, it was a present :D

Hope you enjoyed the post :)
Stay tuned and why not follow my blog so you wouldn't miss anything ;)

The Rainy Day

Good Evening, Everyone. This is a post about what I wore on Wednesday. I had to go on a little shopping trip, so I decided to take this lovely dress out for the first time since getting pregnant :)
I'm really liking the moss/khaki green this autumn :)

Dress - h&m (bought last year autumn)
Tights - Primark
Boots - River Island
Cardigan - h&m

Since I now always go out with Oscar I don't get to wear my bags anymore :D I don't have a diaper bag, but I do have my New Look slouchy black leather bag on the pushchair handle, so this is where I keep all my things. I don't even know what it feels like wearing a bag anymore :D

Hope you enjoyed the post :) I must start getting ready now, as O is asleep (FINALLY) and we are going to go watch Jon Richardson tonight. So it's kind of like date night, except we are only going to the show and then coming straight home (my friend is babysitting :)). There shall be no dinner before and no drinks after :D I guess that's what it's like having a baby though, you make sacrifices...it's still good to get out every now and then without O and play grown-ups :)

Stay tuned, everyone :)

Outfit Of The Day

This is the first outfit of the day post about the fashion buys I did with my sister. I did only buy two things but one of them is a dress, which is a whole outfit on it's own.
The item I'm talking about in this post  is the burgundy red blouse with white cuffs and lapel.
And it is from Primark (I got it from the Primark section in Selfridges though, as I just can't go to the normal one in Birmingham with a baby). I do think it's all more civilised in there as well. Everything is nicely organised and pretty and clean.

I just think that for what it cost (10 pounds) it looks so much more expensive, not that I care if I look expensive :D And I love the dark red color for autumn :)

It was also the only sunny day we had, while my sister was here, but even though it was sunny it wasn't that warm, so I wore a coat and a scarf...damn you windy cold air...go back.

Camel color Coat - New Look (bought last year)
Green jeans - Zara
Leopard print Espadrilles - h&m
Camel color Scarf - h&m

And these are my two monkeys :) Miss her already

Enjoy the time with your family, you guys :)
Appreciate every moment
and stay tuned for the bargain dress outfit of the day post :)

September Favourites 2014

Good morning, everyone :)
This post is about my September favourites. Beauty, fashion and food.

FOOD
I will start with food. Because it will be the smallest part of this post. Last month our favourite food was sea bass. D has started eating more fish, and sea bass is so easy and quick(we need quick meals because we have this little demanding man to take care of :D) to cook. Just pan fry it for a couple of minutes on each side (I like to fry the skin side more to get it crispy) and add a knob of pesto butter...voila...done...and delicious :) It is quite pricey though so we usually have it once a week. Also if we would have it more often we would get sick of it...probably :D

FASHION
My favourite fashion buy was this bag. It's from New Look but looks so much more expensive in my opinion (I paid £19.99 for it). I am loving the dark blue colours these days and the beads just add a little bit of something extra to it. I do still need a good shoulder bag, and I've been drooling over a Alexander Wang slouch bag :( But I must be sensible, so I'll be on the lookout for a high street substitute.

Another favourite fashion item is this kimono style flowery short sleeve jacket thingy :D I hope the weather will turn warm again like the weather man said (they are expecting an indian summer in England this October) and I will be able to wear it without having to put a jacket on it.

I have also been wearing my River Island boots pretty much daily (picture here )

JEWELLERY
These earrings were actually gifts for my birthday.
The bow diamante ones I got from my friends. I had mentioned to one of them that I have been on the lookout for a good bow earrings since I lost one from my previous pair and she'd remembered :) These are Ted Baker and I will definitely be wearing them a lot.

This second pair I will not be wearing a lot because I'll be too scared to lose them. These were a gift from D :) The green stone is actually Oscars birthstone, which makes them even more special. I think they are just so beautiful and classy, but I do have a history of losing earrings :D So I'll wear them on special occasions...guess it's useful they are insured :D

It seems to be all about jewellery for September. I haven't done it on purpose though. But this ring set is my favourite ever since I bought it. I've mostly been using the gold ring with the turqoise stone, because it just matches everything I wear :D

BEAUTY
I already mentioned the L'oreal Micellar water in my Recent Beauty Buys post, but I just have to mention it again on here. It really is the best product I've come across recently. And it's so inexpensive.

Another favourite is actually something I stole ( I actually said I liked it so she gave it to me :D) from my friend Jo :D And it's this Bourjour Paris lip gloss. I really like that it's only a gloss with a bit of colour.
I have been wearing my purple lipstick all summer now, so I think it's time for a change. I also bought a coral lipstick just for those days when I need a little more pop.

These 3 nail varnish colours. I am loving the pastels at the moment. They are by MUA and were only 1 pound each :)

And these were my September Favourites for 2014 :)
What have been your favourites ??? Leave a comment below :)

Daily Outfit

This is an outfit I was thinking of wearing on my Birthday night out. I ended up changing the shorts for a pale pink dress though and the shoes for light blue high heel sandals. I don't have a full outfit photo at the moment from that night, but once I do get it from my friend I will upload it to probably instagram, so follow me there.

Wearing:
Shoes - Zara
Shorts - h&m
Belt - New Look
Lace Top - Forever21
Blazer - h&m

It's very strange to actually have a waist now :D and being able to wear waist belts. I do still have a bit of a belly though, so I will be holding back on wearing the curve hugging dresses :) For now...

Hope you enjoyed the post.
Stay tuned

Outfit of the Day

This is the look I went for today. I had lunch with my friend EmEs and it was really warm outside. I am officially 8 months and 2 days pregnant :O only 28 days until my due date...

Wearing
 h&m dress and belt
Forever21 cardigan
my trusty New Look bag
Dune sandals....the sandals are a bit big for me though now because I walked home in the rain once, and I think it stretched them :S

Also, I wore my purple coloured stack of rings, but before I put those on I tried every single ring I have and they were all too small :( I have fat fingers :D
Sunglasses are Reserved

It looks like a balloon in my stomach :D it feels like it as well

The belly clearly hasn't dropped though :(

Casual Sunday

Had a casual Sunday today. Went to work at 12...finished at 2 :D so I decided that instead of going home, I'll go have a look in town.
I like to go to town on Sundays or Mondays as it's not very busy then. But I ended up not buying anything...I did book myself into At One Day Spa though for a pedicure on Tuesday :)

This is the outfit I went for though. We had 2 days of rain and now it's sunny again, so the sunglasses came out :)

Wearing
Jacket - River Island
Top - H&M
Jeans - Zara
Shoes - Dune
Bag - New Look
Sunglasses - Reserved
Watch - DKNY

32 Weeks

According to my app, my baby now weighs about 2kg and is 42 cm in length and is gaining weight rapidly. Also what's really good that he's lungs are almost fully developed, so If he would be born now, he would only need a little medical help :) It doesn't seem like he's going to come any day now though...lets hope not at least.

But here is MY updated details and bump pictures :)

I slept on my side for too long again I think :D woke up with my bump on one side :D He wiggled back to his normal place though, once I gave him a little push :)  so cute

Wearing
Jeans - zara
Top - h&m
Shoes - New Look
Cardigan - forever21
bag - stand in the shopping centre (made in china obviously :D but it was 10 pounds :D)

How far along : 32 weeks

Gender : Boy

Total weight gain : Gained another half a pound this week

Cravings : I have gotten over my ice-cream obsession, and also I don't remember the last time I had fanta. I figured it's fizzy and full of chemicals, but I still don't like plain water so I swapped fanta to orange squash :D I understand that drinking water is the best, but I just can't, so a little bit of squash will get me through the 2 litres of water I should drink in a day. I am craving chocolate though, the most plain milk chocolate. So I've gotten through quite a few bars this week :D On a side note, my meals have been quite healthy though, so explains why I haven't gained any excessive weight :)

Sleep: Wake up about 3-4 times a night to go to the toilet,  but can still fall right back to sleep after, so all is good in that department.

Stretch marks : I found some on my bum. But they are really small and white, so I'm guessing they have been there for quite a while and I just haven't noticed :D This makes me wonder that I am actually prone to stretch marks though, so I'm scared I will get massive ones on my stomach....how ugly

Movement : I finally got some videos of him moving. But I've had to wait for them to happen, so the clips are about 2 mins long, and I don't know how to edit videos :D So when that happens, I'll put it up here :)

Signs of labour: I am getting the braxton hicks contractions a lot. Also this is probably not a labour sign, but I have really bad lower back pain in my right lower back. And it's really starting to annoy me, because it comes in waves and then I get this pimp limp, or it looks like I've gone weak in my knees. It hurts and it's uncomfortable, and I've been trying to stretch, but I just can't find the spot...

Things for the baby: Haven't gotten anything new. Mostly because I've been lazy and second of all, the big things we actually need to get, we should get with D, but he's on a holiday.

Favourite Name: This is not completely confirmed.....but I'm pretty sure the little one will be named Adrien Leo :) And he will be carrying D's last name. We did consider giving him both of our family names (since we're not married and never will be :D) but I don't like fussy names, and having 4 is just a bit too excessive for me.

Thoughts : This might sound bad, but it's really not meant to be. But I've been having a lovely time this week when D's been away :D I have enjoyed being alone in the flat so much I kind of want him to miss his plane :D is this bad??? Anyway, he's back tomorrow, so no time to well on it. I am pretty sure that we both needed this time off from each other.
I have to explain this though, so you don't think I'm a horrible person :D ... D works from home, so he is always here. And the only time I get a bit of time to myself in the flat is when he goes to the gym or he goes out with his friends, which is not very often. He gets more time to himself at home than me, since I go to work still...I have no idea what is going to happen when I go on my maternity leave in 3 weeks. We will literally annoy the shit out of each other :D
So yeah this week has been pretty good
