Product Review BOURJOIS PARIS

Hello, Everyone :)
Another day another another 2 products to review. Today is the turn of Bourjois Paris Healthy range. There is the Healthy Mix serum Gel foundation and the healthy balance Unifying powder.
I will start with the powder as I've had a chance to test this one out a lot more. Since I ran out of my usual Rimmel Stay Matte powder I have been using this to set my make up since I got it.
The healthy balance unifying powder is said to give you 10 hours of MATT finish and NATURAL HEALTHY GLOW. And as much as I'd love to find a powder that keeps my oily skin dry for 10 hours in a row I have yet to find one. But this powder is awesome and And here is what I think.
It is definitely more loose. It's still a compact powder don't get me wrong, but it's not as dense as the Rimmel one so I feel like there is more product waste as it powders everywhere when I put my brush in it. But on the skin I feel like it's much more natural looking and less cakey. It sets my foundation perfectly and it smells really nice on top of everything. So I FEEL like this is my new go to powder. And I got it in the shade 52 Vanilla
The Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation says to give you 16 hours of radiance boosting even, revived complexion and it is a light coverage foundation which is why I got it in the shade 58 Dark Bronze. I figured a nice glowy and light foundation is exactly something I would need for my  sun holiday next week. I have tried it on, but there will be no picture as it really does not match my skin tone at the moment :D But it feels light and not cakey at all. It blends really well and again it has a warm undertone rather than a pink one, which will suit my skin perfectly with a tan :) I haven't tested the 16 hour stay claim, as I am usually not even awake for that long let alone wear make up :D
I won't be using it during the day in the sun, because I just think wearing make up by the pool or on the beach is a bit silly, but I will be evening out my skintone for those lovely warm weather dinners. I will update on this foundation during the holiday. So if you are interested to find out how it stays on and lasts and feels follow me on Instagram, as I'm more likely to just do a little make up of the night kind of picture/update. :)

Hope you enjoyed this product review post :)
Stay tuned for tomorrows All Time Favourite Beauty Products post :) And read my previous posts in the archive in the meantime :)

My Make Up Collection

Hello Everyone and welcome to January and Beauty Week :) A whole week of beauty related posts with the exception of Sunday...Mama needs a little break :D But 6 blog posts that I am really excited to share with all of you. If you are not really interested in beauty then come back in a week, because there is beauty and beauty only over here on WhiteCrispShirt

FIRST post to start out the madness is a little look at my make up collection.
And here it is, my beautiful vanity. I got the table from IKEA....obviously and although I like it...I don't love it. The drawer doesn't come out fully so the back of the drawer is quite underused. I have put everything in boxes which makes finding things more easy, as I can just move the whole box and pull others out but still...And I'm yet to get a bigger mirror to either be bolted on the wall or sit on the table. But for now I'm using the little round mirror
Another thing I don't like about the vanity is where it is. It's at the opposite wall from the window so the light comes from the back of me. I end up wearing way too much make up on a daily basis just because the lighting is awful :D That is my excuse and I'm sticking to it :D

I will go through the little bits and bobs in it and on it, but I won't go too much into detail about the brands exactly. If you have been reading my blog for while you know that I am very into drugstore brands, so there isn't much high end brands in there that might excite people :D
This is the left side of the vanity. In the little pink Ted Baker box I have a jar of pencils...eye and lip pencils that is...and a few brow ones. I also have a few eye liners in there.in there I also have my hair oil, some letter writing sets and my Urban Decay Vice3 palette, which is just too big to fit anywhere else.
On top of the black Black Opium by YSL box I have the perfume, and whatever skincare things I currently use at the time during my night time skincare routine...I mix it up a lot. The gold DKNY box is filled with nail varnishes and the Audrey Hepburn picture you can see is a cut out from a calendar :) The mirror is from Tk Max , and even though it has a big crack on the other side it has served me well over the years :D
The right side of the table is where I keep all my brushes. They are on top of a few books...as you can see all by yourself :D The bigger grey box is from Ikea and the glass jar is an epty Douwe Egberts coffee jar (same as for the pencils).
I would like to find some matching ones instead of the three containers that I have now, but I haven't found ones I like yet...or I have and haven't bought them right there and then, and then regretted it :D
On top of the #FrontRoe book I also have a few random items. YSL eye liner, a gold necklace, compact mirror and nail varnish :/ this is usually where little random things end up :D
I also have my Tiffanys box, that actually has some massive glass earrings in it and the orange box that holds the earrings D got me for my 26th Birthday :) I just like the colours of the boxes really though :D And the postcard is obviously from Paperchase.
This is one of the boxes from the drawer, which is filled with my most used items. The stuff I use pretty much every day or use most often.
A few items there - The Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid foundation which I love. Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara and the Collection Brow trio.
If you have any more interest in my most used products then stay tuned as I will be posting my all time favourite make up products and brushes post this week :)

Tomorrow I will be sharing a nice simple Bronze Gold Make Up look...so...
As Always, Stay Tuned

Brand Review KIKO MILANO

Hello, Everyone :)
As promised I will be starting my brand review segment today and the first review will be of a completely new brand for me .... Kiko Make Up Milano. I have heard of this brand before, but I must admit, there was not much I knew about it. The reason is that I had never come across this brand in drugstores or department stores. So when I saw a Kiko Milano shop in Guildford I immideately went in and came out with a few products that I thought I would like. I tried to cover a few areas....face, nails, eyes and lips and I also got some face wipes. But go ahead and keep reading to get the full reviews on the products :)
AND BEFORE I FORGET...they have a massive in-store and on-line sale on at the moment :) So head over to one of their many shops or shop on their WEBSITE

Firstly let me start with the 4 eyeshadows. I got 3 of the basic Infiity shadows. Colours shown on the picture and then a more shiny/sparkly high pigmentation shadow in shade 139 pearly salmon.
The 3 basic shadows are all colours that go well with my green eye colour and I figured the shiny shadow will be just good in the inner corner of the eye and under the eyebrow, but it is SO BEAUTIFUL and not sparkly at all but rather sheen shiny, so I have actually been using it as a highlighter and I think £2.90 for an amazing highlighter that gives you the pretties glow is something you can't miss out on :) The other shadows are nice as well, but I can not stop raving about the pearly salmon.

I got another eye product, which was the Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow in 04 Golden Chocolate and I am again IN LOVE. The colour is so pretty I have been wearing it DAILY. I apply it all over my lid and shade out the edges and it lasts for hours...I wouldn't say 8 hours but definitely hours :D And it's on sale at the moment :)

Then I got 2 nail varnishes. I know I mentioned a few months back that I won't buy another nail varnish for years, but I couldn't stop myself :D I got a 303 Beige chrome colour for Christmas season and then 530 Pearly Blue Peacock for the New Years Eve festivities. And I don't regret buying them :D They last really long and the shine makes me happy :D

Moving on to lip products. Something I have too much of already, but again I couldn't help myself. I picked up a nice pink colour 701 SMART lip pencil, but I find it a bit too tough to apply. Maybe I need to keep it in a warm room first :D SO not a big fan of this, but I did also find the PENCIL lip gloss sticks. I picked up a pale pink in 07 Baby Pink and my favourite so far the 04 Chocolate Glitter. IT IS a brown colour with some glittery bits in, but it looks so AWESOME on the lips. Just something I haven't seen before...the colour I mean. And it's perfect for Christmas and New Years. A different take on a dark lip :)

And then I also got a DARK CIRCLE concealer in 02 Peach. I don't know why?!? because I don't really get dark circles :D but I did. Not a big fan, it doesn't dry fast enough for me and the colour is all wrong (my fault for picking wrong) and I can't even use it as a concealer by it self ... Anyway I am not a big fan of the product.
AND then I also got some PURIFYING pure clean make up removing wipes. Which are basically just make up removing wipes :D they were half price at £2.50 and I don't think I would be buying them full price as I don't think there is anything different about them from shall we say Nivea wipes. But they smell nice and they do remove make up so it was £2.50 well spent :)

All in all I am very impressed with the brand AND will definitely be browsing their sale again very soon :)

Hope you enjoyed the first BRAND REVIEW post

May Favourites

Hello, Everyone :)
It's that time of the month again :/ not that...the time of the month where one month has ended and the other one is starting. So I decided to do a monthly favourites post, because I found some favourites last month :D As you do. I am also thinking of doing a post about what's new in the drugstore department. SO if you would like to read a post about my finds and little reviews before you go on a shopping spree, let me know :) Or if you have another suggestion on what you would like to read about on my bloggy blog .... leave a comment, write me a letter, send me an email...you get the deal :D
These are all the products I have been loving. Some of these are actually old products I've rediscovered :) But I shall go through all of them separately :)
1. I will start with my absolute favourite. The Simple Clear Skin oil balancing cleansing wipes - Zinc PCA goodness for healthy skin. These are something I just picked up for those days where you can't be bothered with the whole routine and just need to wipe the day away splash some water in your face and go to sleep :D BUT they are so amazing I now use them every day. I don't know why they are different from the wipes I've used before. They are definitely more thick and also a lot softer. They remove make up brilliantly and leave my skin super soft. Highly recommend these if you like using wipes to take off make up or to just clean your face. I also use them in the morning after I've washed my face. They do say that they are oil balancing and I do tend to get a bit oily sometimes in the t-zone, so they are awesome to start the day and moisturising enough for me to not need to use cream...which I still do sometimes.
2.Garnier Skin Naturals Moisture Restore + Night care cream. This is by far the best night cream I have used recently. I got it from Superdrug when they had an offer on for less than half price on some of the skincare products and only payed under  3 pounds for this. Best 3 pounds I've spent on a cream :D It has a really silky yet gel like consistency and at first it looks like it's going to stay on the skin rather than absorb, but it does. And then you wake up with super moisturised yet silky not oily skin and I swear it works on those blemishes as well. Also after starting to use the cream I have noticed that my forehead has a lot less visible lines and wrinkles :)
3.Weleda Skin Food for dry and rough skin. This was a Christmas gift and I hadn't even used it until last month. Mostly because I just don't use moisturisers...because I'm lazy. Honestly the most cream my skin gets is when it's summer time and I have to use sun protection :D But I started noticing some dry skin on my elbows and also on the top of my legs so I figured I'll try it out. And I love it. The only thing I don't like about this cream is the smell. It has a really weird creamy smell....like you know...it smells like cream :D But since I don't use it as an all body moisturised it doesn't really bother me. Other than that it's AWSOME. I have also tried it on my heels as they get a bit dry, and it works.
4.L'oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss in 302 Hot for Hawaii. I am not really a big fan of glosses  that are all gloss and no colour. But this gloss, that only leaves a slight pink shine and a lot of watery gloss smell like watermelon and reminds me of this Bodyshop lip balm I use to use all the time. And for that reason, the reason that it brings back good memories, it is my favourite. Also I quite like that the gloss is not actually sticky and I can just add it on top of any lipstick and it leaves a beautiful shine :)
5. Barry M nail paint in 303 Bright Purple and Revlon nail enamel in 050 White on White. I had time to do my nails the other day in like a very very long time :D And these colors just came right at me from my box of varnishes. I love the dark purple and I love the contrast between the dark and the white. I didn't do anything crazy like 1 after the other. I just went for purple on my nails and white on the toes. But I do love love the colours. The only downside of the Barry M nail varnishes is hat you have to put on 3 layers and it does come off pretty fast.
6.Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge . This is a dupe for the famous beautyblender, but it's only 5 pounds :S There are some differences between the two obviously, but I'm not a professional so I really don't care about the small stuff. And this little sponge works very well for me. I know Real Techniques have featured in quite a few of my posts lately, but the only reason is that they are so amazing.

And then I have 2 beautiful necklaces. One of them is actually a set of 2. The Forever 21 set of 2 beautiful necklaces. One of them has a moon and the other one is just like a stick :D And since one of them is shorter than the other you can layer them. Only wear one or both. And it's really simple and pretty.
The fang is a super old buy from H&M, but it's that kind of statement necklace. I like how the chain has aged in time and is now a really cool coppery colour :D

And this is all for my monthly favourites. Hope you enjoyed the post. Maybe you found some favourites we have in common. Let me know if you have any suggestions in any department, let it be beauty, fashion, food, baby. I would love to hear them all. And then try them out for myself as well :)
Stay tuned

Spring/Summer Make up Look

Hello, Everyone :) Today I will share a little everyday spring/summer make up look. As always I am using affordable drugstore products and funnily enough they are all by Maybelline apart from the green shadow and sage eyeliner (I'll share details below) :) I have really been liking Maybelline recently and I'm pretty sure it's taking over from my Revlon love. Their new releases have all been so awsome and I've also found some older products that I have come to really like. So big love to Maybelline :) I used peachy corals and minty green colours, because they seem to catch my eye the most lately :)

I used the satin liquid foundation in shade 02 cameo for my base. I generously applied the blush in shade 62 Rosewood on my cheeks and then used E.l.f. cosmetics single shadow in shade Wheat as a highlight.
On the lids I have MUA Colour Blast eyeshadow tint in shade Diamond as a base and then the same shadow Wheat on top of the whole lid. In the crease I have E.l.f single shadow pot in ''sage'' and MUA eye shadow in shade 6 - Pearl...which is the green one...weird name for this kind of green. I used the MUA 3in1 extreme contour liner in shade Fresh Mint on my waterline and also close to the lashline.
The mascara is Maybelline Lash Sensational in black. As usual I don't have any fake lashes as I don't wear them daily...or ever really :D
And lipstick is Maybelline Coloursensational in 418 Peach Poppy, which they do in the 100th Birthday edition packaging as well.

Hope you enjoyed the post
Stay tuned as I will be uploading Oscars 9 month Update Post tomorrow :)

Recent Favorites

Hello, Everyone
I have been mighty busy lately, with getting ready for house guests and other visitors and just trying to keep up with my little monkey, who is now climbing on everything and pulling down everything that he can reach. So finding time to finish up one of my 9 draft posts has been pretty much impossible :D I keep starting them and then so much time passes that they are no longer relevant, so I just kind of have to start another one and the same thing happens :D But I promised myself to blog more often this month to keep myself busy. And I need to keep myself busy as my plan to go back home for a month with Oscar is being held back by the lack of passports in our house :D So here I am writing :)
The plan was to do an April favourites post but in the end I decided ''recent'' is a more relevant word :D

I will start with the beauty products.
The RealTechniques duo fibre brush set was a late find for me. I haven't actually tried any duo fibre brushes...ever...and I'm sad I hadn't discovered them earlier because they are AMAZING. They blend all the cream and powder foundations so well and leave no lines. I don't really use the small eye brush for eyes rather than blending out the contour line on my nose, but I'm sure it will be amazing for eye shadow as well, it's just that I have my tried and tested eye shadow brushes I use daily. Both the big face brush and small contour brush are used daily and I can't repeat myself enough, they are sooo goood. The set is meant to be limited addition, but they are still available in most drugstores and also online.
If you find something you like, buy loads of it :D For me it's plum and berry shades. I'm sure you know my obsession with purple lipsticks/glosses and now I've moved the obsession onto my cheeks as well :D The plum colored Expertwear blush by Maybelline is a very very recent find, and even though it looked super shiny in the shop but ended up being quite matte in real life I still love the colour. It's this super buildable blush that is just so pretty...That's it...it's so pretty :D The shade is 79 Flash Plum.
I also got a peachy tone in shade 62 Rosewood because peach is a bit of an obsession as well lately. To be honest they only had these 2 shades in Superdrug and not that they only had these shades left...it seemed that these 2 are the only ones out there at the moment :D But I will look into it and if I can find more shades I'll link them below.
Dry Shampoo. I have been meaning to try out the dry shampoo but never really got round to it, so when my sister came and recommended me this one I had no more excuses any more. I have to say Momma finds less and less time to wash her hair so this is a godsend...or sistersend shall I say :D It smells so nice and once I was taught on how to use it I was set to go. It just gives me an extra day to rock some loose waves or a straight hair do rather than a ponytail. I mean I have worn that ponytail for months now :D This CO Lab dry shampoo in classic fragrance is meant to be better than the Batiste ones, but I wouldn't know as I haven't tried the Batiste :D If you have tried them both and have a different opinion let me know :)
Maybelline Dream Satin liquid foundation in 02 cameo. I will say this right at the start...I have way too many foundations, but this is by far my favourite. It is somewhere between medium and high coverage so not too good for those hot sweaty summer months, but it leaves such a flawless finish that for now (spring) it is perfect. And it is very durable. I walked through rain and wind with this bad boy on my face :S yes that sounded weird and dirty :D but it lasted. So if you want a flawless coverage this is the one.
Moving on to another face product. NYX Born to glow Liquid Illuminator is the bomb. I use it on top of my foundation just on my cheekbones for that glowy dewy JLo glowy dewy look :D And it just leaves an amazing glow without rubbing off the foundation. I'm pretty sure it is meant to be used as an all over the face product just like the similar product from Revlon, but the tone 02 Gleam is just a bit too dark for me at the moment for that purpose...it will be perfect in the summer though :)
And the last beauty favourite is actually an old favourite of mine that I recently repurchased and it's the Intimately Beckham Womens Eau de Toilette natural spray. This use to be my go to fragrance for work as it's really light weight, smells amazing, it's not offencive and it's SOOOO CHEAP :DI bought mine from Amazon fro about 7 pounds and the bottle is 75ml :o I don't think you get any better than that :D It will last me for so long as well, and it's such a nice floral summery scent.

Fashion wise has been a bit slow these past months :D But I have managed to find some things I absolutely love.

Starting with shoes...I mean I won't go into detail, you have seen me wearing them on Instagram and as part of a casual sweater dress outfit. These Missguided flats are so comfortable yet stylish...I love them, I love them a lot :D
I have also given into my obsession with sunglasses and purchased 2 pairs recently (they are on the beauty favourites picture) The balck ones are from Asos and were 10 pounds and the brown ones with gold accents are from Primark and they were only 3 pounds :O
Moving on to 2 more things I found from Primark. The 2 floral gypsy off the shoulder strappy blouses. They were 6 pounds each so I had to get both of them. And this whole off the shoulder look is very in at the moment, so I'm glad I get to try it out without spending a pretty penny. I got a one in colour grey and navy and I got the size 8. I won't be able to link them as Primark doesn't have an online shop :(
Another very affordable brand is Forever21. I mean you can't get better than that. I went in there and you do get a bit blinded by the lights and all the products but once you get right in there and start searching you will find some fabulous gems. I found the Acid Wash  3/4 length jeans in light blue. And they have been my favourites ever since. I only paid 14 pounds and I also have to mention that I bought size w26 rather than the usual w27 that I go for in other shops just because they are very stretchy and I don't want them to stretch out too much and become unwearable.
And then there is the New Look bag. I have worn it as part of an outfit for one of my fashion posts but never got round to actually tell you guys how much I like it. It is also now on sale for just 10.99 (I'll link it down below)
The size is just perfect for all your essentials and because it's nice and compact I can even take it with me when I go out with a pushchair as it goes over the shoulder. It's just this perfect little black bag for days and nights out :)

And this is it for my recent favourites :)
Hope you enjoyed the post
Stay tuned

e.l.f. Haul and mini reviews

Hello, Everyone :)
If you are following me on Instagram, and if you are not then head over to my Instagram account and please do so NOW :D, you will have noticed I got a bunch of e.l.f. products recently. And I thought I will do a review on them and share my favorites with you guys :)

These are all the things I got :) They were all on sale either 2 pounds or under, because they were having the site closing down sale. SO bargains all around. And also the reason why I went a bit crazy and got so many. The whole lot cost me about 30 pounds :o
I will be honest and say I have not tried all of them out on my face just yet. There are a lot of things to try out and there isn't enough hours in a day in my life at the moment to try them all out. Also I got a lot of darker shades of foundation products for summer months, which means they do not fit my skintone just yet. But I have used quite a few of them already, because I just couldn't wait.
Also the annoying thing is that their UK website, where I ordered all my thing is now closed :( so you will have to either get them delivered by international delivery from their USA site or get them on Amazon :) Or find them in the shop. The thing with finding them on the shop is that they might not actually be available any more or they might be sold out :( But there I am still going to tell you all about my fabulous e.l.f products :)
I will also say that the original website has SOOOO many more producst to choose from than the UK one had, so it's probably a good thing you have to now go there and explore.

But here are the products I will talk about. Look at them, they are sooo pweeety :) :D

I will start with the blushes.
I saw this video on youtube with this purple colour NARS blush. And I'm so sorry, but I can't get myself to buying a 20 pound blush :( even though I would really like to :D
So when I saw this 1.50 HD blush in this amazing dark purple colour called ''showstopper'' I had to get it. It's a cream blush and it's so pigmented, that when I got it and tried it out on my hand it took me a day to get it off :D It looked like I was badly bruised. But on the cheeks....OH MY...it's beautiful. Escpecially with tanned skin, this is the perfect shade. And you need like half of half a drop of this...even less probably. I also realllllly realllly like the packaging. It's a pump jar and it just looks super cool and it's easy to dispense. I also got another colour called ''Diva'' which is a cool fuchsia pink. But I love the purple one :) The pink one is a lot creamier and the purple one is a bit more tense and powdery. But the colour payoff from both of these is amaaaasing ;)

Then there are these cream blushes. I will be honest and say that I have never actually tried cream blushes before (ashamed). And I will tell you to go and get one right now. Cream blushes are the thing. I use my real techniques duo fibre brush to apply these and the result is so pretty and flushed. I got the three colors that were still available and I'm loving the hot pink one in the shade of ''Heartbreaker''. I also got a more taupe/brown one in ''Temptress'' and a more earthy pink shade ''Tease''

I don't think this picture does any justice to the colours. They are a lot nicer in real life.

This is the blush I got because I was hoping the same kind of colour as the HD purple one but in a powder form. It's not really the colour I got though. It's their mineral blush in the shade of ''plum'', but I think it's more like a shade of brown poo :D....Not too happy about this one right here, but not completely disappointed either. Maybe I will grow to love it.

I had to baby wipe the table, because that silly hd purple blush went EVERYWHERE :D

Continuing with the mineral powder range. I got 3 shades of their mineral foundation. All of them, which are too dark for me at the moment. But the darkest one I tried as a contour and loooooved. This is the shade ''deep'' and it is so blendable, which you would expect from a foundation, but it's so good for contouring. Because it is such a dark colour it is perfect for shading. And because it's so blendable there are no harsh lines. LOVE this one. And I'm so glad I went for it even though it's not my shade. And this just shows that the product is so versatile. I think I could even get away with using it as a shaded liner with a damp brush :) we will see.

I forgot to take a picture there ... whooops :D

Then I got some single eyeshadows. I have told you how I really like the single pots, as I don't really ever use all the colours from palettes, which is a waste. So I got 2 pigment eyeshadows in colour ''I have no idea ;D the name was on the box and I threw the boxes away :D'' But they do have serial nr' thingys on them...so the purple shade is #d28 and the green one is #d30. They came in these tiny, awsome, cool little pots with a brush (which I will probably never use as it's too short) and the colours are just perfect for my green eyes :) love these two. And then I also got a matte eyeshadow pot in the shade nr #d21 . I have not tried this one out on my lids yet. but the colour is sooo pretty :)

The pigment eye shadows have a really pretty sheen and none of that tacky glitter :) I like them a lot.

And another product I wanted to talk about that I got was the conditioning lip balm in ''peaceful pink''
This has been in my bag since the day I receiver it. It's so pretty pink and it does leave my lips super nice and soft. And it's that perfect earthy pink tone that is very subtle for every day use. The only thing I don't like about it is the smell :S It smells like L'oreal rouge edition lipsticks :D And I really hate that smell. It just reminds me of the smell that old lipsticks have...you know the ones you played with at your grandmas when you were little. But it's not too bad, because you can't smell it once it's already applied.
Forgot the picture...what is wrong with me :D :D ?? It's on the try out lot picture so I even had it right there, but no...no picture :D

I did get a few more things that you can probably see on the top picture but these few were my favourites from the bunch. I got a few more lip products and some glow bronzer and a few more darker foundation and concealer items. But all in all e.l.f. has not disappointed me at all. And the one thing I kind of forgot to mention is that the packaging of all these products is so amazing. They look super. That is all I'm going to say...SUPER :D

Hope you enjoyed the post and stay tuned :)
I'm going to do an April Favourites post, just because I have found so many products this month that I can't wait to share.
And as always send your post requests and ask the questions or just leave a comment :)

50's Inspired Make Up Look

Hello, Everyone :)

I woke up today and was like I feel like I need to be in a 50's movie :D I felt like wearing a house dress and walk around in fluffy slippers sipping some bubbly. Obviously I have a baby to take care of so staring drinking in the morning is not really something I can do :D But I though I'll take the middle way and spend some time doing my make up and hair. I'm in no way or form a professional make up artist and I can only do what I can do :D So be nice people, and if you think this is really bad, then maybe knowing I stayed at home and saw absolutely no one, hopefully makes it a bit better :D
I decided to go for the peachy look :) The weather is absolutely horrendous so why not go all peachy...raiiiight? :) I used the most least expensive make up and the results are pretty
amazing if you ask me. I'm particularly impressed by the MakeupRevolution matte lipstick in color Bliss. I think this will be my summer lipstick and it only costs £1 :o Like whaaat?
I will also say that it's not really a detailed make up look. It's super simple anyway( I will explain below) and I did edit the pictured the way I did on purpose. It's meant to be a fun post :) Hope you enjoy :)

With this picture, I didn't blur the photo, it just didnt turn out quite the quality it was meant. But I think the blurriness just adds to the whole effect :)

I have MUA blush in shade 1 on my lids :) And cheecks actually. I only added a bit of golden shadow to the tearduct and just in the arch of the eyebrow :)

I also tried out a new contouring routine, which I absolutely love. My nose is huge, so I love that you can just make it look slimmer with make up. Also my cheekbones are not really as out there as I would like, so contouring all the way from my ear to the corner of my lip and then highlighting works wonders :) You might not be able to see just because of the filter on the picture, so if you would like to see a detailed post about my new contouring routine, let me know :)

These are the super non-expensive products I used to get the main peachy look :)

MUA Blusher  - Shade 1  on the picture this shade looks pink, but it's actually a peachy orange colour
MUA Intense Kisses High Intensity Gloss - Color Quick Smooch
Makeup Revolution Amazing lipstick - shade Bliss
Zoeva Luxe Soft Definer brush  - 227  My brush was part of the rose gold set of brushes which is why the link can't link to the exact brush.
And I used the silver angle shadow brush to do a really subtle flick with a black shadow. I think it's th Backstage range brush from crownbrush.com But I'm not too sure. You can use any angled brush with a bit tougher bristles :)

If you would like any more details about this look, leave a comment below and I will be sure to answer as best as I can.

Hope you enjoyed the post. I'll try to do an outfit post next and before Oscars 8 Month Update post...but we shall see how good I will be :D
Stay tuned :)
If you think anyone else will enjoy reading my blog, why don't you share on social media :)

Recent Beauty Favorites

Hello, Everyone.
I have recently come across some really good beauty products, that I can just see myself using time after time, day after day. So I thought why not start the month with some favorites. It's usually an end of the month thing to do, but since I haven't done a monthly favourites post in such a long time I figured it doesn't even matter when I do it :D So here are my recent beauty favorites. Bear in mind that all these products are completely affordable and I purchased them myself apart from the L'oreal liquid bronzer that was kindly sent to me by L'oreal team to try out :)I'll go from first to last but not from most favourite to least :)
The first thing is something I never thought I can find. Perfect false eye lashes. If you have been following me for a while on here and maybe on Instagram, you might have noticed a post of a pile of false eye lashes I was meant to try out. But I haven't really had an occasion. But at the end of last month me and D had a chance to have a date night after a very very long time, so I figured I'll go all out. I decided on these Eye Candy 50's 012 style lashes and I'm so impressed. First I'm not a big fan of lashes that actually look fake and these definitely do not. They look so natural, but add a whole lot of volume and thickness and length. So off to falseeyelashes.co.uk I went again and ordered a butt load of them just in case :D they are only 2.49 or 2.99 (can't remember exactly) and they come with next day delivery that you don't have to pay extra for :) and of course with the spring sales there is a discount code to get 20% off when you spend 25 pounds :)  Just use the code EASTER2015 :)
The one thing I will say, is that it's quite hard to get them off the pack :D But that might be because they had been in that pack for a really long time. And the Katy Perry color pop lashes for Eyelure are pretty good as well, but defo for a more intense look :)
Second favorite is the Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude Fluid-touch Foundation. I bought this in a wrong colour hoping I had actually gained some colour. But I hadn't :D still ivory or whatever colour is in the beginning of the row :D So I went and got a correct colour for my current skin tone 10 IVORY. The thing with this foundation is that it's so blendable and stays on the skin like a sheer layer of silk. AMAZING. So impressed with this and it's just the perfect foundation for everyday use. I used this on my Purple Make Up Post as a base and it definitely photographs well with flash as well :)
Another favorite from Maybelline are their ColourSensational lipsticks. I like how they are really velvety and yet quite long stay. And the colours are beautiful. I have yet to buy their new line for the same product, but definitely will. If you have tried it let me know if it's worth buying :) Or do you have a lipstick favorite of your own? The dark one is color 365 Plum Passion and nude color is 710 Sultry Sand. And check me out for getting a nude colour as I have been on a bit of a purple haze lately :D
Look how nicely the plum colour sticks into my arm hair :S :D

L'oreal Glam Bronze Eau De Soleil....weightless fresh bronzer natural healthy tan
When this came through the mailbox I was super exited to try it. It says on the bottle that you can use it to bronze and contour and it's absolutely perfect for both. It has the same liquidy consistency as the maybelline foundation, so it's super easy to blend into your skin or foundation. I've mainly used it to contour at the moment and it just works. Definitely a product worth stocking up on. I might ACTUALLY stock up on it because I'm so scared it will be a seasonal product :D Another thing I'm going to say is that in the recent craze of contouring this is probably the only product you need. rather than buying 7 countouring kits that cost from 10-50 pounds, You just use your usual foundation and this liquid bronzer. So thumbs up for this one :)
I have been liking single eye shadows lately. I just found that I pay lots of money for a cool palette and then only use 3 colors from it. So I have been buying single ones instead and these 3 are MY FAVORITES. L'oreal Nude cream single eye shadows in colour nude204 which is the darker one and nude206 that is the lightest of them all.
I have been using Maybelline Color Burst in colour Bronze on Bronze as a base for so long and I do find it needs a coat of powder shadow on top, escpecially when you are using an eye liner as well, because it doesn't let the liner to dry and it will end up in the crease of you lid. But these nude creamy shadows are in between powder and cream and their staying power is so good you don't need a primer or a setting spray or any powder shadow on top for them to stay on for the day without creasing.....AND the liner stays on perfectly :)
And the coppery Maybelline colorshow eyeshadow in 23 Copper Fizz...see the name matches the color :D I like this color a lot...I like it a lot. Same thing as with the L'oreal shadows...creamy but powdery..I don't know.
Another one is not really a beauty, but rather a skin care favorite and it's a bit hard to buy these ones as the brand is only sold in Poland...I think :D and I haven't actually even tried them yet, but I just know I will love them as my friend highly highly recommended these. I got a few testers from her to try out and I will giving her my order once she goes to Poland to get me a bucket load of the products :D And apparently all the products are SUPER CHEAP as in a pound for a wash or a mask or a cream....I mean...come on...I'm getting loads :D
I don't actually even know what these packets do as I speak no Polish :(

And lastly it's the least expensive thing on my list of favorites. This £1 MUA blusher in color Marshmallow.  It's such a nice berry pink color and it's perfect for spring tiiiime. I like this one. I also got 5 different colours from MUA blusher range, just because they are 1 POUNDS each :D but this color is definitely my favourite. So go get it :) hahaha I'm just kidding, but I'm not as well.

And this is it for the beauty favorites at the moment. I'm still on the quest to find a really good affordable highlighter, so if you have one you have found and love, please let me know. Otherwise I will have to succumb to a splurge buy and get the Charlotte Tilbury one :S :D

Hope you enjoyed the post guys :)
Stay tuned as I will be posting a recap of the Easter Sunday :) After easter. And if I'll be really good there will be a post before that :)

Little Beauty Haul

Good Evening, Everyone

I have actually managed to get my hands on some new make up and tools recently. So I thought I'd give you guys a little overview and mini reviews on the products that I have purchased :) I already did a separate post on the Revlon Photoready products so I won't be talking about them again. Hope you enjoy the post and find something to try out yourself :)

Firstly and foremostly I got these Zoeva brushes. I'm not going to lie, they have ended up in my online shopping basket a few too many times, and every time I have not been able to justify getting them. But I figured that I will be able to use them on my make up course, that is meant to start in May?? :D I need to double check that. So I got them. And I'm so happy with my buy. They are amazingly soft, firm, silky and beautiful. My favorite one so far is the silk finish brush, that I use to apply my foundation. The powder brush is slightly too airy to apply compact powders but probably perfect for loose powder. And the rest of the brushed I'm yet to try out :D But I'm sure they will not disappoint. I got this set of face and eye brushes with the bag from the Beautybay website.

All the products I've gotten from either Boots or Superdrug

Face products

You already know about the disappointment the Revlon products were. But all the rest of these are pretty darn amazing for what they cost me :)
I have used the Rimmel Stay Matte powder for years and I still keep going back for it every time. So that is definitely worth every penny. To be honest it only costs like a few pennies anyway :D
The Collection Lasting Perfection ultimate wear concealer is a new buy for me. I usually steer away from this company, but I've heard so many good things about this concealer that I decided to try it out myself. The cover is amazing and it really does stay on for hours. You obviously have to set it with a powder, but it does what it says it will do.
And lastly by far my favorite bb/cc cream so far. Bourjois 123 perfect CC cream. I absolutely love this. On days when you just need a quick cover and fix, this is what I will grab for from now on. It leaves your skin smooth and not oily or greasy and covers all the blemishes and redness. I apply it with my fingers just in my t-zone and blend it out. AAAAMAzing

Lip Products

The swatches are the other way around :S

I have a big love for purple lip colours. I just think they look good on me and I think purple is less glam as red but not less dramatic. On the other hand I think a purple lip is much easier to dress down than a red lip. Anyway, I'll cut right to the point. This Revlon Colorstay Moisture stain in the color 005 Parisian Passion is perfect. It's just a really long stay lip gloss?stain? but it's not cakey. It just stays on in a glossy purpley heavenly color and I don't even have to reapply after hours. I mean I don't think you can ask much more from a lippy :D
Bourjois rouge edition velvet in the color 02. Not a big fan of this one. It is much more red than I was hoping it would be. I definitely don't think it's a every day color. But it is long lasting and really velvety and matte that it will be perfect for a date night lip :)
Collection Galactica lip butter in color 1 pink rush. I only picked this up because it was under 2 pounds, and I was already by the counter getting that concealer. I do find it a bit too metallic though. On the other hand it is very buttery and for a lip butter stays on for a good while. Definitely not kiss proof, as Oscar had some very pink cheeks :D
MUA lip liners. I picked these up for a pounds each, thinking you can never have too many lip liners, but I'm not a big fan. The colors are not very pigmented so it takes a good strong push to get the line clear. But for a pound I don't expect miracles :)

Eye Products

Seventeen Falsify HD mascara. This is a very hyped about mascara. But I'm not a fan. You need a good few coatings of it to actually make a dramatic change in the look of you lashies, and it kind of powders off under your eyes :(  Not going to buy it again, but won't be hiding it in the drawer either.
Must me honest with you guys. I actually thought this MUA eye liner was a lip liner when I bought it :D but the same story here. It's not very pigmented and takes a harsh hand to get it on the lid. Will probably try using it as a lipliner still :D As I don't want to be pushing it on my eyelids.

And this is all for my little beauty haul post.
Hoped you found some products to try out yourself.
