Latest buys

So like I've mentioned before, now that I'm pregnant I just can't get myself to buying very expensive clothes, not that I ever really did. But now even spending 50 pounds on something seems like a waste, because I don't want to buy something for the size I am, as it changes every week, and I can't be sure what will fit nicely after childbirth.
Even so, I can't stay away from the shops completely :D So here are a few of my latest buys

The first cardigan is from Forever21 and was only about 15 pounds, It's so nice and light even though it's quite long. and really does go well with jeans and dresses and well pretty much everything. Defo worth the buy, and the size doesn't even matter.

The bottom two are both from New Look. I never really used to go there, but I keep getting lured in lately, by their prints and summer season pieces.  Both the pictures are taken from the back, I've never really gotten the whole thing about making a statement in the back, excpecially because I have pretty long hair, and I do tend to wear them loose, so the effect will be lost. Never the less, It's always good to get some lighter color sweaters for the summer season.

A bit more colorful shop and my dreaded pregnancy jeans :D

The flowy light pink dress is from Forever21, and again it was a bargain, but I can't remember how much it was and i've lost the tag. It's exactly long enough to cover my growing bump and the right kind of material to keep me cool during the higher degrees.
The maxi dress is from New Look and if i' not mistakes it was around 22 pounds. And showcases the tribal print I mentioned :D I can't wait to wear it with some sandals, and add a nice leather jacket for the colder evenings.

The Preggo Jeans - Good news about these are that they are incredibly comfortable and they are a size 8 :D which makes me pretty happy. Because that is probably the only size 8 I will fit into in a while. Also from New Look, but I must say their display of maternity clothes could be better. I recommend using the online site as long as you know your size, because no one has time to return things, when there is so much baby planning to do.

Do you girl know any good shops for maternity clothes? if so, share the love and let me know :)

AND finally. I know I keep promising to do the bump update, and I will. But it will happen on Saturday as I will be exactly 22 weeks then :)

Stay cool girls

The short edition

So to follow up my last post about my summer shop wishes, I did some research on the forever21 site and found 5 pairs of amazing shorts that are completely affordable and adorable :)

1. Tribal print flounce shorts, just 7 pounds. I would pair these with some pretty tan sandals and a simple white blouse.

2. Drawstring linen blend shorts. These come in 4 different colors. Taupe, White, Navy and Red (pictured). And are actually my favorite and they are also the cheapest out of the bunch. Just 6 Pounds. I'm thinking of getting them in all of the colors.

3.These fluttery floral shorts are just too adorable and easy to either dress down with a simple tank top and sandals or dress up with a nice blouse, a statement neclace and some pretty heels ( I would actually go for wedges)

4. Spotted satin shorts £14.75. These look so much more expensive than what they are. And would be perfect for a spring/summer night out.

5. Another pair of fluttery shorts £14.75. A bit of sophistication without the extra fabric. Perfect for a garden party or a nice lunch with the

Hope you enjoyed the post. Let me know if you know another good shop, that does great design without having to pay a fortune :)

Summer wants, Summer needs

I honestly can't wait for it to be warm and sun. The winter has been just an extension of the autumn...it was so rainy and horrible. But thats England for you. So now I think everyone is ready for some summery sun.

I usually tend to wear a lot of black and dark colors, but summer brings out the color and whites. Nothing better than some a pure white shirt with some summery and colorful accents. I tend to keep it simple and add color with a nice pair of shorts, and sandals.
This season I haven't really gone along with the denim jacket trend, but I am excited to try a denim vest. A nice white linen dress and some tennis shoes. The ones above are from etsy

And the one thing I am really into is bangels and bracelets. My watch is really simple these days so I like to make a bit of an impact by adding some volume to it. And the monogram bracelet would look just perfect, It's from etsy.com again and I am just trying to find some funds to order it.

For some reason I still haven't gotten over the leopard trend, so I will defenetly be buying the trend in the form of sandals for the summer. (sandals on the picture from anthropology)

The other item I always tend to buy for the summer is some new denim shorts, but since I'm going to be heavily pregnant for this one, I think I will leave it this year, as I don't see the point buying maternity shorts excpecially when there are amazing stretchy shorts to be tried out.

These are about 38 pounds, again from etsy, so I think I might go for a look out for some cheaper ones from high street.

These are a few of the things I want for summer, but what I will get is probably a whole different story as I tend to change my mind a lot :)

Here's hoping summer isn't that far away
xoxo
